At Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, Christian won the conference title in the weight throw with a career-best toss of 15.82 meters, the third-longest throw in program history. It marked Miranda's first career conference championship, while it was the second win in the event for the Gators in as many years, after Mike Petro took gold in the weight at the 2015 Indoor Championships.
