Allegheny men’s golfer Carter Hassenplug was the runner-up in the three round, 102 golfer Transylvania Fall Invitational.  He shot rounds of 70 and 71 Saturday (Sept. 4) before a four-under 68 in the final round Sunday (Sept. 5) to finish at a seven-under 209. His score of 209 broke the previous 54 hole Allegheny record of 211 set by Louis Olsakovsky in 2018.  Hassenplug was named to the All-Tournament team.
