Petro enjoyed a record-breaking day at the NCAC indoor quad meet hosted by Wooster. In the weight throw, the senior established new team, meet, and facility records, with a career-best throw of 17.13 meters on his final attempt of the day. In all, Petro threw four times, breaking the school record each time with distances of 16.37, 16.82, 16.86, and 17.13 meters. He shared the previous Allegheny mark in the weight throw with 2007 graduate Devin Cruea.
