What is your fondest memory from your time as a student-athlete?
Our run in the NCAA playoffs in 1988.

What is your fondest memory from your time at Allegheny?
The NCAC Championship and NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2004.

What brought you to Allegheny?
The weather… and the perennial academic and athletic success.

bIf you could coach another sport for one day, what would it be?
Football.  I would love to be a defensive coordinator calling 'A' gap blitzes.

Do you have any personal pregame routines?
I always say a prayer during the National Anthem
.
Favorite road trip movie?
The Usual Suspects, or any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

Least favorite road trip movie?
No comment.

Favorite band/musical artist?
Any 80's hair metal.

What would be your pre-game pump up song?
In college, "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky, since we were the RIT Tigers.  Now, anything heavy, just like my players.

Favorite TV show?
Seinfeld.

Favorite pro sports teams?
New York Rangers and Giants.

Favorite athlete?
Barry Sanders.

Favorite Book?
La Cocina, by Art Vandelay

You can choose three guests to invite to dinner – who would they be?
Jerry Seinfeld, Jurgen Klinsmann, and Tom Coughlin.

You can choose one historical sporting event to go back in time and attend- what would it be?
Super Bowl XLII.  February 3, 2008.  Giants 17, Patriots 14.

Top item on your bucket list?
Get to Madison Square Garden.

Describe Allegheny in three words or less.
Challenging.  Competitive.  Life-changing.

Who has been your greatest influence during your coaching career?
My college coach, Doug May, and Dean Foti, the head coach at Syracuse University.

What is the top piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman student-athlete?
Take it all in.  There will be plenty of ups and downs.  Try to stay consistent with your effort.

What is the top piece of advice you would give to someone who plans to pursue a coaching career?
Go for it.  It's not easy, but it will be very rewarding.  You will probably meet your best friends in life during the journey.
