Tradition of excellence.

Who has been your greatest influence during your coaching career?
Joe Schaly helped me early in my career understand what it takes to be a successful college baseball coach.  I actually worked under three great head coaches while I was an assistant coach.  I feel really fortunate to have learned from some of the best.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to an incoming freshman student-athlete?
Greatness doesn't happen overnight, it takes hard work and time. Stick with it and you will be rewarded. Always put the team first and be a great teammate.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone interested in pursuing a career in coaching?
Take the best things you've learned from each coach you've been around in your life. These experiences will help you shape your coaching philosophy. Always continue to learn and grow as a coach.
