Alexis led the way for the Gator women at the 2014 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, playing a big role in a pair of wins to help Allegheny to a fourth-place finish. Â On the first day of competition, she teamed up with S.J. Guillaume, Laura Cooper, and Alyssa Brindle to win the distance medley relay in a time of 12:33.18, less than a second-and-a-half off of the event record. Â On the second day of the NCAC Championships, Preston won the conference title in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:22.95, becoming the first runner from Allegheny to win the event since Ogechi Nwokedi in 2008.Â
