Head men’s basketball coach Pat Sullivan shored up his coaching staff for the 2024-25 season with the addition of recent Allegheny College graduate Trey Williams ’24.

Williams was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team. He saw action in 22 games, including a career-high 14 appearances during Allegheny’s run to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) championship game in 2022-23. He produced a career-high nine points with three 3-point field goals in the regular-season finale, a 111-62 rout of Waynesburg University inside the David V. Wise Center.

The former Gator guard from Hudson, Ohio, was a two-time PAC Sportsmanship Team selection, earning the award following his junior and senior seasons. Williams has also been recognized for his work in the classroom with North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Academic Honor Roll, PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll, and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honor Court accolades.

A second-generation Gator, Williams is the son of former Gator point guard and Hall of Famer Robert Williams ’84, who was inducted in 1994 as the program’s all-time leader in assists.

Williams graduated from Allegheny with a bachelor's degree in business in the spring of 2024.
