Mike Carr, PT, LAT, ATC, was named the Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2022 as part of Allegheny College's local partnership with the Meadville Medical Center (MMC).
Carr is a certified athletic trainer and licensed physical therapist and the director of the sports medicine program at MMC. He brings nearly three decades of experience to Allegheny. In the fall of 1997, he developed the sports medicine program at MMC, which has been utilized in area high schools since the 1998-99 academic year.
A two-time graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Carr received his bachelor's in athletic training in 1997 and earned a master's in physical therapy in 1999.
