Laura Dillaman joined the athletic training staff at Allegheny College in August of 2022, but has been on the sidelines at Allegheny before. She previously served as an assistant athletic trainer for the Gators for five years from 2010 through 2015.
Dillaman began her professional career in 2005, when she joined the sports medicine staff Hobart and William Smith College. Her tenure at HWS was highlighted by the fact that she was on the sidelines with the Herons at the Division III women’s soccer national championship game in 2008.
After five years in Geneva, New York, Dillaman began her first stint at Allegheny, where she was responsible for men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball, softball, cross country, and track and field.
In the summer of 2015, she transitioned to Pittsburgh as the head athletic trainer at Chatham University. With the Cougars, she built a work study student program, served as the senior women's administrator and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor, and assisted with compliance. She also assisted with the search for a program director to lead the newly-formed athletic training master's program in 2017.
Dillaman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2004 and earned a master's degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2005.
