Biography
2014-15: Team Captain…made 24 starts during her senior season, appearing in 25 games…averaged 8.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, ranking second in rebounding and third in scoring…led the team with 52 free-throws, converting 75.4 percent of opportunities…additionally logged 36 blocks, second-highest total on the team, 62 assists, ranking third on the squad, while taking on 22 blocks…scored a season-high 21 points against Washington & Jefferson (Nov. 25), tying a career-high to help Allegheny to a 94-89, overtime win, adding a career-high 11 free-throws (11-of-12)…posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Gators against Waynesburg (Dec. 1)…held a streak of seven double-digit performances, starting with 12 points against DePauw (Jan. 2) and stretching until a 14-point performance against Kenyon (Jan. 31).
2013-14: Team Academic Award Winner...recipient of the Meaghan Volek Leadership Award, deemed upon the student-athlete that best "demonstrates a love for Allegheny women's basketball above oneself"...Made 24 starts in 24 appearances during junior season…finished with 10.4 points and 6.0 rebounds, concluding season second in rebounding average while tying for third in scoring average…named to 2013 Greg Richards ’08 Memorial Tip-Off All-Tournament Team recording 32 points to help the Gators to a 2-0 record in the tournament…named Allegheny Female Athlete of the Week on Nov. 25 after averaging 10.1 points and 9.3 rebounds over three games…recorded four double-doubles, including back-to-back double-doubles against Wooster (Jan. 22) and Oberlin (Jan. 26)…notched a career-high 21-point performance against Fredonia State (Nov. 16), picking up her second performance of 20 points or more with 20 points against Ohio Wesleyan (Feb. 15)…grabbed a career-high 14 boards against Carnegie Mellon (Nov. 21)…tied a career-high with five-blocks against Ohio Wesleyan (Feb. 15)…made a career-high five three-pointers against Fredonia State (Nov. 16)...set a new career-high with six assists against Saint Vincent (Dec. 18)...tied sophomore Kaitlyn Fromknecht with a team-high 32 blocks.
2012-13: Started in 22 games for the Gators, appearing in 25…led gators with 20 blocks…averaged 5.6 points and 4.3 rebounds…set new career-high with 17 points to usher Allegheny to North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) win over Oberlin (Dec. 8)…recorded 10 points in 63-62 win over cross-state conference rival Denison (Feb. 9)…tied career-high with 11 rebounds against Carnegie Mellon (Dec. 4)…named Allegheny Female Athlete of the Week on Dec. 10…recipient of The Allegheny Award at the annual women’s basketball awards banquet, awarded to the student-athlete who best represents the ideals of the program.
2011-12: Appeared in all 26 games for Allegheny as a freshman, starting in 20 games…played great defensively all season, and got much more aggressive offensively as the season progressed…scored seven points in her collegiate debut against Grove City on November 11…ranked second on the team in blocked shots with 30, including a career high five against the College of Wooster on February 15…had her best game against Wooster on February 15, scoring a career high 15 points on 5-12 shooting from the floor (including 3-3 from three), reeling in eight rebounds, blocking five shots and nabbing seven steals…finished second on the team in minutes played with 789 (30.3 mpg).
Personal: Born on May 18, 1993 ... Daughter of Geri and William Hoffman ... Four time letter winner in basketball and volleyball at North Catholic ... 2 time WPIAL champion, 1 time WPIAL runner-up ... 2nd team all-state, 1st team all WPIAL, and 1st team all section in basketball.
