NCAC Pitcher of the Week - Apr. 16, 2018

2018: Honorable Mention All-NCAC selection… Made 11 appearances and eight starts on the mound… Finished 5-4 with a 4.05 ERA, one save, and team-leading 56 strikeouts in 53.1 innings of work…  Struck out at least five batters in nine of his 11 appearances… Started and worked 5.0 innings, allowing just two unearned runs on two hits with six strikeouts vs. Case Western (3/4)… Came out of the bullpen to record the final eight outs, with two K’s, to earn save at Wabash (3/31)… Started and allowed one run on four hits with seven strikeouts to get the win at Oberlin (4/4)…  Threw 2.0 innings of relief, allowing one unearned run with two K’s, to pick up the win over Fredonia (4/11)… Started and worked 7.0 shutout innings, allowing just five hits with a career-best 10 strikeouts, in win over Ohio Wesleyan (4/14)… Named NCAC Pitcher of the Week on 4/16 after his performances against Fredonia and OWU… Started and worked 7.0 innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits with seven K’s, in win over DePauw (5/5).

2017: Made 14 appearances on the mound during freshman season, earning a team-high five victories... Posted 5.76 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 25 innings of work... Earned first career win after allowing one earned on five hits with three strikeouts in 3.0 innings of work vs. Luther (3/20)... Took the win in first career start, going 5.2 innings and allowing two runs with three K's vs. Wisconsin-Superior (3/24)... Improved to 3-0 after allowing two runs on two hits with three K's in relief vs. Kenyon (4/2)... Threw three scoreless frames, allowing just three hits with three strikeouts at Penn St.-Behrend (4/18) to improve to 5-0... Allowed just one run over final five appearances.

Personal: Son of Ken and Christine Kealey… born on Oct. 15, 1997… two-year letterwinner… also a member of the National Honor Society and CYO basketball…Baldwin Baseball Camp volunteer… Economics major with a planned career as a financial analyst
