Biography

2014:  Made 32 appearances, with 30 starts, as a freshman... Split time primarily between catcher and third base... Finished with .289 average (26-for-90) with four doubles and seven RBIs... Struck out just six times in 94 plate appearances... Turned in seven multi-hit games... Began season by batting .455 through first 12 games, with four multi-hit contests...Had two RBIs and two runs scored in win over Buffalo State (Apr. 2)... Went 3-for-5 in doubleheader sweep of Wooster (Apr. 9).

Personal: Two-sport athlete at Deer Lakes, earning four letters apiece in softball and volleyball... Valley News Dispatch Softball Player of the Year in both 2012 and '13... Earned KDKA Extra Effort Award in 2012... Led team to WPIAL AA championship in 2012 and runner-up finish in '13... Daughter of Doug and Jan Blinn... Born 11/12/94... Environmental science major.
