Biography

Notable: Four-time All-NCAC selection (2013-14, HM in singles; 2014-15, 2nd in doubles & HM in singles; 2015-16, 1st in singles)...his totals of 74 singles (t-2nd), 62 doubles (5th), and 136 combined (3rd) victories all rank within the top five in program history…became the first player in program history to be nationally ranked by the ITA…advanced further than any other Gator in school history at the 2015 ITA Division III Central Regional, moving to the quarterfinals...owns one of the program's 10 20-win seasons in doubles (2014-15)
 
2015-16: All-NCAC First Team selection in singles after posting a 14-7 record in the top flight and a 19-9 mark overall…went 18-10 in doubles action, owning a 15-7 record with two different partners at the No. 1…claimed the program’s first ITA Division III national ranking, slotting in at No. 50 on Nov. 3…made a historic run to the quarterfinals of the ITA Division III Central Region tournament, the first time an Allegheny player has advanced past the Round of 16…named NCAC Player of the Week on Mar. 21 after posting a 3-1 mark in both No. 1 singles and doubles competition during the Gators’ spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina…claimed a 9-8 (10-2) victory with Jai Redkar in No. 1 doubles at Edinboro (Apr. 21), defeating the No. 2 ranked team in the Division II Atlantic Region…snapped off a trio of five-match winning streaks in singles (Sept. 19-27) and doubles (Sept. 5-19, Mar. 22-Apr. 3)…closed his career with a pair of wins over Wabash (Apr. 26) in the NCAC Tournament fifth-place match, winning top-flight singles by a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 line to go along with a 9-8 (7-4) win in No. 1 doubles...gathered Gator Athlete of the Week honors twice (Sept. 28, Nov. 10)
 
2014-15: All-NCAC Second Team Doubles selection in conjunction with an All-NCAC Honorable Mention singles designation…closed out the season leading the team in singles victories, going 16-7 overall with a 13-7 mark in dual matches along with a 3-0 mark in invitational play…won a season-high five consecutive singles matches from September 17th to 23rd, including a 3-0 week at the Oberlin Invitational…scored a 6-4, 6-2 win at top-flight singles at the NCAC Tournament, helping lead the Gators past the Wabash Little Giants (Apr. 25)…closed out the season with a 20-4 doubles record, mostly due to a 14-3 record at top-flight with classmate Tyler Triolo…won eight consecutive matches with Triolo, closing out the season as the No. 11-ranked doubles team in the region…scored an 8-5 victory over Kenyon’s top-flight, regionally-ranked duo before upending another regionally-ranked squad by picking up an 8-5 win over Wabash in the NCAC Tournament (Apr. 25)

2013-14: All-NCAC Honorable Mention Singles selection…ended sophomore campaign with a 21-7 singles record, primarily in third-flight…won nine straight third-flight matches from Apr. 4-25, a tying his career-long win streak…recorded an 18-6 doubles record, including a 10-3 mark in second-flight…paired primarily with Daniel Conroy, the duo won nine straight matches in second-flight from Mar. 1 – Apr. 12

2012-13: Recorded 18-5 record in singles, including 12-1 mark at sixth-flight…won nine consecutive matches from Sep. 29 to Apr. 6…ended the spring season with 12-2 singles mark…posted 6-0 record in doubles…went 4-0 with Alexander Hurtuk, winning “C” doubles bracket at Kenyon Invitational (Sep. 16)
