Evan Schreiner

Schreiner is in his first season at Allegheny after two seasons as a volunteer assistant for the Clemson University men’s tennis program.  Schreiner also served four years as a camp counselor for several camps, including the Clemson Tiger Tennis Camp, Clemson High Performance Tennis Camp, Total Tennis Training Camp and Manny Diaz’s Georgia Tennis Camp, where he was able to learn from legendary coaches Chuck Kriese and Manny Diaz.

"I am thrilled to have Coach Schreiner join our staff,” commented Luteran.  “He has an impressive coaching background as he spent the last two years working with the Clemson men's team and working at camps along side Kriese and Diaz.  He comes very highly recommended from both the men's and women's coaches at Clemson.  I was very impressed with his passion and knowledge of the game when he came to campus for his interview."

Schreiner graduated in 2011 from Coker College, an NCAA Division II institution in Hartsville, S.C.  A four-year starter for the Cobras, Schreiner earned a spot in top-flight doubles, also playing No. 2 singles during his collegiate career.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business management from Coker in 2011, Schreiner recently completed his Masters of Science in parks, recreation and tourism management from Clemson University and is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).  Schreiner currently resides in Meadville, Pa.
