Trevor Jones joined the Allegheny College men's soccer team as an assistant coach in April of 2024.
A 2023 graduate of Bowling Green State University, Jones boasts experience at the Division I level and has an extensive background at the club level in Western Pennsylvania.
Jones, who played soccer at Girard High School in his hometown of Girard, Pennsylvania, assisted long-time Bowling Green head coach Eric Nichols as a student operations director. In his role with the Falcons, Jones helped prepare and execute training sessions, breakdown film, organized equipment, and oversaw a team of student managers. During his tenure, the Falcons won the Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship in the spring of 2021 and qualified for back-to-back NCAA tournaments. In the fall of 2021, BGSU won its first-round matchup at the University of Louisville, the Falcons' first NCAA tournament win since 1997.
In his hometown, Jones has coached all age groups at the Girard Soccer Club since its inception in 2016. Most recently, he has served as the club's sporting director and head coach of the U11 and U12/13 teams. Jones has also spent time with the Erie Commodores Football Club. After a stint as an associate coach for the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) senior team in the summer of 2022, he guided the U15/16 and U17 boys' teams.
Jones, who graduated from Bowling Green State with a degree in sports management, possesses numerous licenses and certifications from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), including referee certification, and national "C", "D" and grassroots licenses.
