Kris Carroll

Kris Carroll enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Allegheny College men's basketball program in 2023-24.

Carroll will transition to the sidelines after finishing his playing career overseas. While completing his master's degree, he guided the University of West Scotland to the Scottish Student Basketball championship finals. Carroll also suited up for the Renfrew Rocks, who compete in the Scottish Basketball Championship (SBC) Division I.

Before traveling abroad, the Brooklyn, New York native was a two-year member of the basketball team at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. Carroll averaged more than 14 points per game and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line (45-of-48, 93.8%) as a senior in 2021-22. Before transferring to Warren Wilson, he began his collegiate career at Paul Smith's College alongside Allegheny head coach Josh Clemens, who was in his first years as an assistant coach for the Bobcats. Carroll also spent one season at Farmingdale State College and was a part of the 2018-19 Skyline Conference championship team.

Carroll graduated from Warren Wilson in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in business and received a master's in international management from West Scotland in 2023.
