Allegheny College Athletics

Joe Herrmann is in his third season with the Allegheny men's basketball program following a fantastic playing career that led to a bevy of awards at the NCAA Division III level. A 2008 graduate of Thiel College, Herrmann developed into one of the most dominating players in the nation, and captured All-American accolades following his senior campaign. He was also a Great Lakes All-Region performer, and was a four-time All-Conference honoree in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC). Following the 2004-05 season, Herrmann was named PAC Rookie of the Year.

An outstanding student as well as an excellent basketball talent, Herrmann was a double major at Thiel and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology while also majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies.
