2017: Started all 10 games at tailback... Second Team All-NCAC selection... Finished fourth in the NCAC with 955 rushing yards, while tying for third with 10 rushing TDs... The 955 yards were the most in a single-season for a Gator running back since 2006 (Mario Tarquinio/1,202)... Was also first Gator since Tarquinio to turn in four 100-yard rushing games... Also totaled 18 catches for 113 yards to post 1,068 all-purpose yards... Ran for 65 yards and a touchdown in season-opening win at Thiel (8/31)... Ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns vs. Denison (9/16)... Ran for 117 yards and a score at Ohio Wesleyan (9/23)... Broke the century mark for the third straight week in win over Hiram (9/30), gaining 193 yards on 25 carries and one TD, the highest single-game rushing total for a Gator since Tarquinio in Sept. 2006... Ran for 157 yards on 24 carries and two TDs vs. Wabash (11/4)... Ran 20 times for 99 yards and two scores, while adding season-high 51 receiving yards on four catches, in season-finale at Oberlin (11/11). 

2016: Full-time starter at running back... Gained 413 yards on 125 carries, with three touchdowns... Also finished with 18 receptions for 52 yards... Ran for career-high 113 yards on 21 carries with a touchdown in season-opener vs. Thiel (9/3), while also hauling in four catches for 23 yards... Gained 90 yards on 22 tries in win over Oberlin (10/1)... Ran for 29 yards on nine carries with a touchdown at Denison (10/22)... Ran for 63 yards on 14 tries vs. Ohio Wesleyan (11/5)... Scored Gators’ lone touchdown in season-finale at nationally-ranked Wittenberg (11/12). 

2015: Honorable Mention All-NCAC selection as a kick returner... Appeared in nine games as a freshman... Took over starting role at wide receiver midway through the year... Split time as the main return specialist, establishing new Gator single-season record with 685 kick return yards... Recorded 21 catches for 194 yards... Rushed for 33 yards on nine carries... Averaged 20.1 yards on 34 kick returns... Averaged 101.3 all-purpose yards per game... Turned in three kick returns over 40 yards... Made three catches for 38 yards in career debut vs. Wooster (9/12), while averaging 39.5 yards on a pair of kick returns, including a 41-yarder... Broke off 47-yard kick return vs. Kenyon (9/26), one of three returns that netted a total of 93 yards on the day... Ran five times for 27 yards, had one reception for a career-long 29 yards, and made a pair of kick returns for 39 yards, at Oberlin (10/3)... Amassed 162 all-purpose yards at Ohio Wesleyan (11/7), including season-highs of nine receptions for 68 yards, while running once for six yards, and gaining 88 yards on four kick returns. 

PERSONAL: Graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School... All-Conference, All-WPIAL, and PIAA All-State selection in 2013 after leading the Centurions in both rushing and receiving yards... Son of Ron and Audra Balla... Majoring in political science, with minor in communication arts... Teammate of younger brother Chase Balla, a defensive back for the Gators.
