Biography

2010: First Team All-NCAC…selected to play in the 2010 Division III Football Senior Classic in Salem, Va…appeared in all 10 games…team captain…totaled a team-best 63 tackles, including 34 solo stops…finished second in the NCAC with four interceptions for 76 yards…provided heroics at then-undefeated Case Western Reserve as he returned a fumble 76 yards for the game-tying score with two minutes left in regulation…finished the day with a career-best and team season-high 15 tackles…enjoyed tremendous performance against Ohio Wesleyan with an interception and two pass break-ups…returned the pick against Ohio Wesleyan 49 yards…had an interception in the first three games of the 2010 campaign…boasted six tackles for a loss of 19 yards as well as 1.5 sacks…authored season-high eight solo tackles against nationally-ranked No. 6 Wittenberg.

2009: Started in all 10 games as strong safety...recorded 54 tackles with 34 unassisted, surpassing his overall career total in just one season...had a game-high 13 tackles, a sack for a loss of 13 yards and a forced fumble which he recovered to set up the game-winning touchdown against CMU. This performance landed him a spot on D3football.com’s Team of the Week for Oct. 9-10th...named First Team All-Conference...recieved F. Dawson Weber Defensive Back of the Year award.
 
2008: Appeared in nine games, getting the start at Wooster…totaled 32 tackles, including 20 solos…posted a sack for a loss of eight yards in the win over Oberlin...returned an interception for 79 yards in the win over Kenyon, and recorded six solo tackles…forced a fumble against Wooster…registered six tackles for a total loss of 25 yards on the season…tallied three sacks for a combined loss of 17 yards.
 
2007: Played in six games and recorded two tackles...first tackle of career came on Octoober 6, 2007 against Wabash.
 
Personal: Son of John and Sophia Facaros...born January 5, 1989...majoring in Biology...member of the Pre-health club...earned varsity letters in basketball, baseball and football at Riverview High School.
