A native of Pittsburgh, Luvara returns to Allegheny after spending two seasons on the staff at Misericordia University, where he was position coach for the inside and outside linebackers, while also assisting in video and strength and conditioning.
He graduated Allegheny with a B.A. in managerial economics, while minoring in communication arts. Under Coach Matlak on the gridiron, Luvara played inside linebacker from 2007-10, racking up 75 career tackles, including 7.5 TFL's and 0.5 sacks.
In addition to his tenure at Misericordia, Luvara also has extensive experience working camps and clinics, as he's been on the staff of prospect camps hosted by Villanova, Duquesne, University of Pittsburgh, and Penn State.
A graduate of Seton Lasalle High School, Luvara successfully completed the MBA program at Misericorida in May 2014.
