Mike Dietrick joined the Allegheny coaching staff in the summer of 2015, after enjoying a strong playing career at Clarion University.
A tight end, he was a four-year starter and senior captain for the Golden Eagles, while earning Clarion Scholar Athlete honors in each of his final three years. He led the Golden Eagles in receptions as a junior in 2013, before posting a team-best four touchdown catches during his 2014 senior campaign. Selected to play in the 2014 National Bowl in Miami, Florida, Deitrick finished his collegiate career with 56 receptions for 723 yards and eight touchdowns.
Deitrick graduated from Clarion with a degree in business management, while earning a minor in sports management. A native of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, Deitrick earned All-Conference honors at Upper St. Clair High School, where he was a three-year letterwinner in both football and basketball.
