Jeff Fell

Jeff Fell joined the Gator coaching staff in July 2017, coming to Allegheny after spending the past two seasons at Norwich University, where he coached running backs, tight ends, and the offensive line.
 
While at Norwich, he assisted in all aspects of his positional areas, including game planning, scouting, and conducting positional meetings.  He also spent the 2015 season as the team’s assistant special teams coach, specializing in snappers, punters, and kickers, while he was responsible for the coordination of schematics and personal for field goal and point after units.
 
Fell spent the 2013 and ‘14 seasons at Maine Maritime Academy as the defensive line coach, special teams coordinator, and recruiting coordinator. In his duties with the defensive line, he conducted positional meetings and helped with practice planning, while he specialized in opponent run game and pass protection.  As special teams coordinator, he was responsible for weekly breakdown and game planning for all special teams units, and served as the snappers, punters, and kickers coach.  As recruiting coordinator, he handled the scheduling and organization of all campus visits, and was responsible for the recruitment of student-ahtletes throughout the Northeast.  
 
In conjunction with his coaching duties at Maine Maritime, Fell was also a cruise company officer, counseling over 300 Midshipmen and directly supervising a ship full of 300 students and 100 staff members.  

Fell began his football coaching career at Great Neck North High School in Great Neck, New York, where he worked as offensive and defensive line coach, as well as special teams coordinator.
 
Fell graduated from Yale University in 2012, and was a versatile two-year starter on the gridiron, seeing time at center, tackle, long snapper, and short snapper.  While at Yale, he was also a member of the team’s rugby team, while in 2007, he was a member of the United States National U-17 Rugby Team.
 
He is a native of Garden City, New York.
