After a decade at the helm of McDowell High School, Bo Orlando joined the Allegheny College football staff as a volunteer assistant coach in April of 2024.

A veteran offensive mind, Orlando will work with Allegheny's tight ends in his new role.

Orlando joins the Gators after a decorated tenure as the head varsity coach at McDowell in Millcreek Township. During his 10 years at the helm, the Trojans won 81 games and nine District 10 championships. In his final season, Orlando led McDowell to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 6A quarterfinals and mentored six District 10 all-stars, including All-American offensive lineman and Penn State commit, Cooper Cousins.

Previously an assistant coach at Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, Orlando was the offensive coordinator for the Ramblers' 2012 state championship team.

A multi-sport student-athlete, Orlando played baseball and football at Penn State before graduating in 2000.
