Antonio Banks enters his 13th year of coaching and made his return to the collegiate atmosphere when he joined the Allegheny football staff in 2020.
Throughout the course of his career, Banks has coached at the high school level, NCAA Division I and II, the professional level as well as internationally.
Prior to arriving in Meadville, Banks spent the last three years at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida where he served as the Defensive Backs coach.
A 1997 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Banks was a four-year letter winner of the Hokies’ football program where he played in a bowl game in all four years. He was the recipient of the 1993 Independence Bowl Defensive Most Valuable Player award.
