Biography

2012: Started all 10 games at outside linebacker... Team's returning leader in tackles (48) tackles for loss (11.5), and sacks (4.0)... Posted five or more tackles in six different games... Finished with six stops, including one sack and 2.5 TFL's, in win over Oberlin (9/29)... Posted season-high 10 tackles and 3.5 TFL's, while also forcing a fumble, vs. DePauw (10/13)... Made six tackles adn blocked a kick vs. Kenyon (10/27).

2011: Started all 10 games at outside linebacker…finished the season with 45 tackles, two sacks, and 3.5 tackles for loss…recorded career-high 10 tackles in Allegheny’s win against Denison (10/15)…recorded at least two tackles in every game…had five tackles, one sack, and first career pass break-up against Case Western Reserve.

2010: Appeared in eight games while totaling 11 tackles…credited with a career-best four stops against nationally-ranked No. 17 Wabash…recorded a pair of tackles in the Gators’ home wins against Carnegie Mellon and Ohio Wesleyan.

Personal: Son of Brenda and Barry Burkley…born August 19, 1991…Team Captain of his football team…named All Conference for Outside Line Backer at Greater Latrobe High School.
