Allyson Osborne enteres her first season as Allegheny College's assistant field hockey coach in 2023.
A Nottingham, Pennsylvania, native, Osborne joins the Gators after spending last season at North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) foe Oberlin College as an assistant.
At Oberlin, Osborne helped with all aspects of the field hockey program, including recruiting, practice plans, and promoting a positive team culture. She also has experience as a goalie coach for the United Field Hockey Club, Solanco High School, and Next Level Field Hockey, all of which are based in Pennsylvania.
A 2021 graduate of Hartwick College, Osborne was a two-time First Team Empire 8 All-Conference performer. She was selected as the E8 Goalkeeper of the Year in the spring of 2021 after the fall season was postponed during the pandemic. In 2019, Osborne led the Hawks to the Empire 8 Championship, made an appearance in the NCAA Championships, and received All-Region accolades with career bests in wins (13), saves (135), and save percentage (.833). For her career, Osborne logged 37 wins with a .784 save percentage and 297 saves in over 3,800 minutes of playing time, and Hartwick reached the E8 tournament in three of her four seasons.
Osborne graduated summa cum laude with a degree in chemistry.
