2018: Appeared in 16 games, with six starts, during freshman campaign… Split time between first base (nine appearances) and third base (six)… Batted .310 (9-for-29) with a home run and eight RBIs… Picked up first career hit with a pinch hit single against Denison (4/8)… Smacked first career home run as part of a two-hit, two-RBI day in win over Hiram (4/22)… Went 2-for-5 with two RBIs in win at Mount Union (4/29)… Went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored in victory over Kenyon (5/2).

Personal/High School: Graduate of Freeport High School... Earned three letters in basketball and two in baseball, while also participating in golf... Baseball team captain as a senior... First Team All-Area selection by both the Valley News Dispatch and Leader Times... National Honor Society member... Graduate with highest honors... Son of Darin and Patty Hettich... Biology major... Plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.
