2013: Appeared in 11 games for the Gators, making four starts…recorded an RBI against Hiram (Apr. 7)…batted 1-for-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament contest against Wooster (May 9).
2012: Appeared in 10 games for Allegheny during his sophomore year, making six starts … Hit .190 (4-21), scoring four times and knocking in four RBI … Hit the first home run of his career against Hiram on April 7, a game in which he also smacked his only double of the season … Drew six walks earning him an on-base percentage of .370.
2011: Appeared in six games as a freshman...made his collegiate debut against Wilkes on March 5...recorded his first career hit against Kenyon on April 23...recorded his first career RBI against Oberlin College on May 1.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Cindy Regel…born August 3, 1991…played baseball and football at State College High (State College, Pa.)…signal-caller behind the plate under head coach Bill Tusset in his two letter-winning seasons…served as team captain as a senior and received several team awards including the Coaches’ Award and Will to Win Award…helped guide team to PIAA District 6 championship…majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Art...planned career in web site design.
