Biography

2014: Made a pair of appearances for the Gators during his senior campaign.

2013: Made six appearances during the season…pitched 2.1 innings in relief against Pitt-Bradford (May 1)…struck out two batters on the season.

2012: Appeared in five games for the Gators during his sophomore season … Gave up two earned runs or less in four of his five appearances this season … Struck out seven batters while accumulating a 6.52 ERA over 9.2 innings pitched.

2011: Appeared in three games during his freshman year...made his collegiate debut against Salem St. on March 19, tossing 0.2 of hitless ball, earning his first career save.

Personal: Son of Donna Hyun, and brother to Grace Hyun (Kansas University) and Meera Hyun (graduate of Boston University)…born November 25, 1991…three-sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and football at Newton South High (Newton, Mass.)…received three varsity letters in baseball as a pitcher and outfielder…majoring in history with a minor in communication arts…planned career in politics.
