2013: Appeared in seven games for the Gators…batted 1-for-1, recording an RBI and scoring a run against Wooster (May 10).

2012: Appeared in 11 games for the Gators during his sophomore year, making four starts … Hit for a clip of .294 (5-17), scoring three runs and driving in three RBI … Reached base safely in five of his 11 games, earning an on-base percentage of .316.

2011: Appeared in eight games during his freshman season...scored his first career run against then No. 21 St. Olaf, after drawing his first career walk.

Personal: Son of Carl and Christine Nelson…born August 30, 1991…three-year letter winner in baseball under Jon Beverly at Weston High (Weston, Mass.)…named Dual County League All-Star…received team dedication and most improved awards…manned both corner infield positions in high school…majoring in environmental studies.
