Biography

2018: Made six appearances out of the bullpen during freshman season… Posted 12.79 ERA over 6.1 innings… Did not allow an earned run over his final three outings, spanning 5.0 innings… Threw a scoreless inning in relief, with a strikeout, in win over Fredonia (4/11)… Worked season-high three innings, allowing just three unearned runs, at Wooster (4/21)… Threw one scoreless frame, with a strikeout, vs. Kenyon (5/2).

High School/Personal: Graduate of Shady Side Academy... Three-year baseball letterman... Helped team to WPIAL Class AA section championships in both 2015 and 2016... Two-time Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All-Section selection... Named team MVP as both a junior and senior... Served as team captain as a senior... Son of Erin and Carmen Tarasi... Cousin Kevin Kelly was a four-year football starter at Penn State.
