2014: All-NCAC First Team selection…led the Gators in most offensive categories, producing team-highs in batting average (.365), slugging percentage (.608), hits (54), doubles (18), triples (3), home runs (4) and RBI (35)…stole 14 bases…his NCAC-leading 18 doubles tied Rick Grimm’s 1989 total for the second-most single-game doubles recorded in a single season…earned spot on D3Baseball.com Team of the Week on Apr. 28, 2014 after producing a stellar .423 batting average and .808 slugging percentage over a four-game series against Wooster, additionally picking up Allegheny Male Athlete of the Week plaudits…finished fourth in the conference with 90 total bases…finished second in the conference in slugging percentage.

2013: Started in all 40 games played…finished with .275 batting average, 33 hits and 17 RBI…led team with four triples, finishing tied for third with 10 doubles…forced 15 walks and was hit by pitch a team-high 11 times…scored 28 runs, tied for second-highest team total…finished fourth on the team in slugging percentage (.425) and on base percentage (.399)…inherited closer role, picking up two saves during the season…struck out 15 batters…started four games, pitching 22.2 total innings.

2012: Appeared in all 39 games for Allegheny, making eight starts on the mound and 30 starts in the field…posted 3-2 record on the rubber with a 6.75 ERA, tallying two complete games…struck out a team-high 37 batters in 42.2 innings pitched, while walking just 13…batted .339 (38-112) scoring 26 times while knocking in 19 and hitting a team-high two home runs…earned .444 on-base percentage while slugging .464…led the team with six doubles and was second on the team in total bases with 52…reached base safely in 16 straight games from Mar. 18 – Apr. 3, including a 14-game hitting streak from Mar. 18 – Apr. 1…posted eight multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits against Ohio Wesleyan on Mar. 31…hit .385 (10-26) against left-handed pitching, second best on the team…batted 23-52 (.442) with runners on base and 13-32 (.406) with runners in scoring position…recorded 62.3 percent success rate of moving runners and knocked in eight two-out RBI.

2011: Appeared in 19 games as a freshman, making seven starts...made collegiate debut against Wilkes on Mar. 5...made pitching debut against Salem St. on Mar. 19, tossing 2.0 innings without giving up an earned run...had his most productive game against Denison on Mar. 27, going 2-3 with one run and five RBI in game one of a double-header.

Personal: Son of Dr. Michael and Kimberly Pezzone…born Feb. 19, 1992…two-sport athlete in baseball and soccer at Upper Saint Clair High…played multiple positions in each sport…helped lead the baseball team to a section championship as a senior and was on the 2010 WPIAL runner-up in soccer…majoring in biology with a minor in psychology…planned career in medicine.
