Personal: Son of Stephen and Claudia Griffin…born Mar. 10, 1995…played high school baseball under head coaches John Martinson and Rich Turnbull, also participating in hockey and indoor track…All-New York State Fifth Team selection in 2013 after earning  All-Conference First Team plaudits…earned All-Division First Team honors freshman and sophomore year…arrives in Meadville after playing at Castleton State College his freshman year…biochemistry major with a focus on pre-health and a minor in communication arts…planned career in Physical Therapy.
