2014: All-NCAC Honorable Mention selection…finished senior campaign with a  5-0 record, earning a 4.69 ERA…picked up first win of the season on Apr. 6 against Hiram, throwing six innings of two-hit work…recorded a career-high eight strikeouts on Apr. 13 against Oberlin, sparking the Gators to an 11-1 win over the Yeomen…made the start in the deciding game of the NCAC Crossover Series, throwing five innings of work and striking out four batters to earn the eventual win over Wabash (May 4).

2013: Appeared in 11 games for the Gators, starting nine games…set a new career-high with eight innings pitched in 11-3 win over Hiram (Apr. 7)…tied a career-high with six strikeouts against Keuka (Mar. 30)…totaled 32 strikeouts on the season.

2012: Appeared in eight games for Allegheny during his sophomore season, making six starts … Went 2-2 with a 5.23 ERA in 31.0 innings pitched … Struck out 19 batters while walking just 10 …  Gave up two earned runs or less in six of his eight appearances.

2011: Appeared in nine games during his freshman, making one start...first career start came against Catholic University on March 6...earned his first career win against Penn State-Behrend on April 14, throwing 5.0 innings of relief...struck out a career high three batters on two spereate occasions, last coming against Ohio Wesleyan on April 10.

Personal: Son of Brian and Tracy Ellis…born March 19, 1992…three-sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and football at Chalker High (Southington, Ohio)…two-time all-county selection as a junior and senior…named team MVP as a senior…brother Mike Ellis played baseball at the University of Toledo…majoring in psychology with a minor in english.
