Biography

2017: Appeared in nine games during sophomore season, seeing time at both linebacker and on special teams... Totaled eight tackles and forced two fumbles... Made three tackles and forced first career fumble while on punt coverage in win over Hiram (9/30)... Recorded a pair of tackles at nationally-ranked Wittenberg (10/14)... Forced second fumble of the season at DePauw (10/28). 

2016: Appeared in six games at linebacker, and also saw time on special teams... Recorded three tackles... Assisted on first career tackle for loss at Wabash in week three (9/17)... Picked up first solo stop in week five win over Oberlin (10/1).

PERSONAL: Graduate of Fairview High School, where he earned multiple letters in football... Son of Gary and Jennifer Smallshaw... Political science major.
