Allegheny College Athletics

2018: Was a workhorse on the mound in first season at Allegheny after transferring from Mercyhurst… Second on the team with 15 appearances, including six starts and nine relief outings… Posted 6.80 ERA with one save and 40 strikeouts in 45.0 innings… Came out of the pen to allow just one earned run on four hits, with two strikeouts against Case Western (3/4)… Threw 2.2 scoreless innings at Baldwin Wallace (3/26), allowing one hit with one strikeout… Started and worked eight innings, allowing two earned on five hits with five K’s, vs. Denison (4/8)… Threw two scoreless innings, with one hit and two strikeouts, at Ohio Wesleyan (4/14)… Earned first win of the season against Hiram (4/22), throwing a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts before the Gators  earned a walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth… Allowed two earned on six hits, with a career-high nine strikeouts, against Kenyon (5/2).

2016-17: Played collegiately at Mercyhurst-Northeast... Named 2016 NJCAA Region III Pitcher of the Year and 2017 Mercyhurst Northeast Male Athlete of the Year... In 2017, made 13 appearances and nine starts, going 5-4 with a 2.72 ERA and 44 K's in 56 innings.

High School/Personal: Earned four letters in baseball and two in football at Springfield Local... Two-time All-ITCL Upper selection... As a senior, led ITCL Upper with 81 strikeouts... Owns school record with 19 strikeouts in a 7-inning game... 2014 PBR Preseason All-Ohio selection...Helped team to 2013 OHSAA Class IV state championship game appearance... Son of Beckie and Chuck Donatchie... Managerial Economics major.
