Biography

2015:  Among team’s leading receivers throughout junior campaign... Recorded 28 receptions for 232 yards and a touchdown... Posted at least two catches in nine different contests... Made three grabs for 25 yards, including a leaping 14-yard touchdown grab, in week two vs. Wooster (9/12)... Posted four receptions for 31 yards at DePauw (10/17)... Posted career-highs with six receptions for 65 yards at Ohio Wesleyan (11/7). 

2014:  Saw extensive action at tight end, appearing in all 10 games...  Totaled seven receptions for 80 yards... Made two catches for 33 yards, including season-long 19-yard reception, at Wabash (9/27)... Had two receptions for 20 yards at Kenyon (11/1). 

2013:  Started nine games at tight end as a freshman... Hauled in 13 passes for 100 yards... Made first career reception, for nine yards, in week three vs. Hiram (9/21)... Gained season-high 48 yards on four catches, including season-long 21-yard reception, in week five vs. Wooster (10/19)... Hauled in season-high seven catches, gaining 40 yards, in week six at Oberlin (10/26).  

Personal:  Son of Bill and Sarah McFarland... Graduate of La Serna High School... Two-sport athlete, lettering in both football and baseball, with team winning league championship in each sport... Football team finished as CIF state finalists in each of his last two seasons... Two-year football captain... First Team All-CIF, All-Area, and All-League in football during both junior and senior seasons.
