Career Performances

2015: All-America, All-Region, and All-NCAC honoree...Finished sixth or higher in six of seven events... Placed 32nd at NCAA Division-III National Championship (11/21) to earn first career All-America honor... Placed second at both the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals (11/14) and the NCAC Championship (10/31)... Placed second at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble (10/17) with a career-best time of 24:11... Placed sixth overall in Division-I heavy field at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (10/2), posting a time of 25:07... Finished third at the Calvin Knight Invite (9/12) with a time of 25:01.8... Opened season with fourth-place finish at the Grove City Kickoff 5K (9/1), posting a time of 16:14.  

2014: Gators' top man in all six events... Named NCAC Runner of the Year... First Team All-Region for second straight season... NCAA Championship qualifier... Was named NCAC Runner of the Week after placing first at the Denison Invitational with a time of 26:42.3... Placed fifth overall at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, timed in 25:34.3... Won the NCAC Championship with a time of 26:31.9... Finished fifth at NCAA Mideast Region Championships, turning in a season-best time of 25:05.4... Placed 75th at the NCAA Division III National Championships, finishing in a time of 25:06.9.

2013:  Consistently the number-two runner for the Gators throughout the season, behind three-time All-American Bobby Over... First Team All-NCAC and All-Region... Finished third overall at the NCAC Championship, timed in 27:04... Finished 12th at the Mideast Region Championship with a time of 25:04... Took 84th at NCAA National Championship, running 25:49... Ran season-best 25:28 at Inter-Regional Rumble, en-route to a fourth-place finish... Began the season in fine fashion, taking first at the 6K Bill Sudeck Invitational (19:44), before finishing second seven days later at the Allegheny Invitational (26:03). 

2012: Top freshman not only in the region but also performed as the top freshman at NCAA Championships missing All American honors by one spot...First season at the 8k distance, finishing second on team five out of six races...Currently has the best freshman records for 3k, 6k, and 8k distances...Ran season-best 8K (24:38) at the Inter-Regional Rumble (10/13/12)...Improved his 8k time by over a minute over the course of his freshman campaign.

Personal: Earned varsity letters for cross country and track and field at North Allegheny High School...Placed 5th at the cross country state championships...Placed 3rd in the 3200 meter run at the track and field state championships...Majoring in Physics and minoring in Psychology...Son of Harold and Stacey Ann Steiner...Born on August 5, 1994.
