Biography

Thomas Elcott was a 1980 NCAA Division III national champion in wrestling at 150 pounds.  He compiled a perfect 5-0 record in winning his national title and was a three-time All-American.  Elcott finished second in the nation in 1981 and fourth in 1979.  He competed in the NCAA Division I national championship in both 1980 and 1981 and was a 1981 recipient of William E. Johnson Trophy Outstanding Allegheny Wrestler Award.  Thomas helped Allegheny to 14th- place NCAA Division III finishes and third place Presidents’ Athletic Conference finishes in both 1980 and 1981.  He was also a three-time PAC runner-up at 150 lbs and a three year letter-winner for the Gators.
