Biography
2011-12: Appeared in all 26 games, making 25 starts for Allegheny during her junior season…voted as an All-NCAC Second-Team performer for the first time in her career…ranked in the top three on the team in 16 statistical categories including points, rebounds, assists, minutes played, and field goal percentage…ranked near the top in the conference in nearly every offensive category including fourth in points per game (15.7), t-second in rebounds per game (8.0), and first in the conference and 15th in the nation in field goal percentage (55.8)…scored in double-digits in all but two games, including a career high 29 point against Wittenberg on February 4…ranked second on the team in double-doubles, earning a career high seven…pulled down a career high 17 rebounds against Carnegie Mellon on January 3…hit the game winning shot, as time expired, in the Allegheny Invitational championship game against Misericordia on November 19…hit a career high 11 free-throws, going a perfect 11-11 against Denison on January 21.
2010-11: Appeared in all 27 games, and made 26 starts in her breakout sophomore season…a force on both sides of the glass, she led the team in rebounding average with 6.9 rebounds per game, and total rebounds with 185…her 6.9 rebounds per game ranked her sixth in the NCAC…seven times this season she pulled down double-digit rebounds including a career-high 12 boards against John Carroll University (12-1-10)…in six of those seven games, she recorded a double-double…her best statistical game came in the Gators NCAC Semi-Finals victory against Ohio Wesleyan (2-25-11) where she poured in a career-high 22 points on 9-of-13 (69%) shooting, and pulled down 10 boards…on the season shot 46% from the floor, which was second on the team, and her 9.9 points per game scoring average ranked fourth, and was third among starters.
2009-10: Played in 21 games on the year...scored a career-high nine points against Earlham on Feb. 5th on 5-5 shooting including a perfect 4-4 inside the arc…for the season shot .467 from the floor.
Personal: Daughter of Nadine Ford...born April 3, 1991...majoring in Environmental Science...four-year letter winner in basketball and three-year letter winner in track & field...helped basketball team win WPIAL Championship (2009)...named Player of the Game in WPIAL Championship...WPIAL Champion in triple jump (2009)...member of marching band, chorus, concert band and national honor society at Sto-Rox High School...environmental science major with minor in English.
