Biography
2011: Played in 19 games while getting the start in five…saw action mostly as an outside back where she helped pace a defensive unit that finished the regular season eighth in the nation in both shutout percentage (.737) and goals against average (.40) while surrendering just 5.78 shots per game…scored lone goal of the season on an unassisted finish against Lycoming in the season opener.
2010: Versatile athlete who started at outside back and spent considerable time at forward…logged action in 17 games and made 11 starts…seven of her 12 shots were on target including a season-high four chances against John Carroll…started for the Gators in both the NCAC title game as well as the first round of the NCAA Championship Tournament.
2009: Played in six games…helped defense post four shutouts in six appearances…took three shots from the back, registering one shot on goal.
Personal: Daughter of Keith and Cheryl-Ward Strickland...born November 25, 1990...competed in soccer and basketball for The Fieldston School (Bronx, N.Y.)...named All-Ivy League First Team in Basketball and All-Ivy Honorable Mention in soccer.
