Biography

2013: Wrapped up career with 20 home runs, third most in program history… Fifth all-time in program history with 59 career walks…  Honorable Mention All-NCAC selection… Led the NCAC with 42 runs scored… Finished second in the league in walks (22), fourth in triples (2), eighth in home runs (5), and tenth in on-base percentage (.434)…  Posted 13 multi-hit games on the year… Went 4-for-4, with a homer, double, stolen base, four RBIs, and three runs scored, in win over Western New England (3/21)… Tied school record with four walks in second end of Denison doubleheader (3/30)… Homered, walked twice, and scored two runs in opener vs. Kenyon (4/14)… Posted five hits, while walking three times and scoring four runs, in NCAA Angola Regional Tournament.

2012: NCAC Player of the Year…NFCA Second Team All-Central Region…First Team All-NCAC…finished among the conference leaders in nearly offensive category, ranking second in the NCAC in homeruns (9) and runs scored (42), third in slugging percentage (.730), fourth in walks (18), fifth in total bases (81), sixth in runs batted in (32) and stolen bases (15), and seventh in on-base percentage (.462)…set an Allegheny record with seven runs batted in against Washington & Jefferson (3/22)…second player in program history to boast two multi-homerun games (vs. Washington & Jefferson – 3/22, vs. Wooster – 4/3) in same season…had multiple RBI in nine games…scored in 14 of the team’s last 16 games, including 11 games with at least two runs…season-ending slugging percentage ranks as the fourth-highest in program history… totaled seven outfield assists and 20 extra base hits…reached base safely in 33 of 36 regular-season games.

2011: NCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention…batted .359 while starting all 28 games at shortstop…finished second on the team with 10 extra-base hits including six doubles and four homeruns…finished second for Allegheny in runs scored (13), runs batted in (16), walks (13), and stolen bases (5)…reached base safely in the first 19 games of the season…scored three runs while knocking in four at Oberlin (4/13)…pieced together two hitting streaks of at least eight games…finished sixth in the NCAC in on-base percentage and seventh in slugging.

2010: NCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention...Allegheny College Newcomer of the Year...appeared and started in all 33 games mostly at shortstop…also made two starts on the mound and finished with six appearances while holding the opposition to a team-low .241 batting average…led Allegheny in runs batted in (20), triples (2), and assists (78)…tied for team high with 13 stolen bases…finished 3-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base against Carleton while falling a homerun short of the cycle…knocked in a season-high three runs in a 2-for-3 effort against Kenyon…opened the campaign by going 3-for-3 at the plate with two runs and two RBI against Grove City…finished twinbill against Grove City with five stolen bases and four RBI while closing 5-for-7…scored a season-high three runs while plating two of her own in a victory against Denison…boasted 10 multi-hit games.

Personal: Born November 3, 1990…daughter of Jim and Mary Ann Fort…four-year letterwinner in both cross country and softball…three-year letterwinner in indoor track & field.
