TRAFFORD, Pa. – Coltin Colucci (Brewster, Ohio/Fairless) of the Allegheny football team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Gators defeat Waynesburg and improve to 3-0.
 
Colucci tallied five tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception returned for a touchdown against Waynesburg. In the second quarter, Colucci recovered a strip-sack fumble to slow the Yellowjackets down. In the third quarter, Colucci picked off a pass and returned it 37 yards for the score.  For the season, Colucci has recorded 15 tackles.
 
The Gators are back in action Saturday (Sept. 26) at Saint Vincent.
