The Bison struck first, scoring a goal after winning the opening draw. Erin Lowthert (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) tied it up for the Gators on an unassisted goal a minute later. Caroline Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty) then put the Gators in front after converting a free-position opportunity. The Bison responded with two straight goals of their own to regain the lead.
