PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its annual Men's Swimming and Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll and watchlist on Wednesday in advance of the 2025-26 season.
In the preseason coaches' poll, Allegheny was predicted to finish in seventh place. The Gators earned 24 points, just three shy of sixth-place Chatham University, but held a 10-point advantage over Bethany College in eighth.
Grove City College, which has won the last seven PAC championships, was picked to finish first in the conference with 56 total points and seven first-place votes.
Two Gators were recognized among the PAC's 2025-26 Men's Swimmers and Divers to Watch. Junior
Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview) returns after competing in the freestyle and breaststroke in his first season with the Gators last winter. Sophomore
Sam Kohler (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) qualified for the "A" finals in the 100-yard butterfly and 500-yard freestyle and placed seventh in both events at last year's PAC Championship meet.
Habusta, Kohler, and the rest of the men's swimming and diving team will kick off the 2025-26 season at Hiram College on Saturday, October 18, at 1 p.m.
