Colucci Crowned PAC Special Teams Player of the Week

PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. --
Allegheny College linebacker Coltin Colucci (Brewster, Ohio/Fairless) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Special Teams Player of the Week following a career performance against Saint Vincent College.

Colucci, a transfer from Division II Seton Hill University, made plays all over the field against the Bearcats. He finished with a game- and career-high 20 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks. No Gator has logged at least 20 tackles in a game since Kyle McGee '20 racked up 21 in a 31-20 victory over Oberlin on November 16, 2019.

Additionally, in the third quarter, Colucci bulldozed his way into the end zone for a special teams touchdown. After a botched long snap by Saint Vincent's punt unit, the junior from Brewster, Ohio, collected the ball and pushed his way through a crowd of Bearcats and Gators for a 12-yard touchdown.

Through the first two games of the season, Colucci leads all Gators in tackles (28), solo tackles (12), and sacks (2.5), and is tied for the most tackles for a loss (3.5).

Allegheny returns to Frank B. Fuhrer Field on Saturday, September 21, for its Blue and Gold Weekend matchup against Westminster College. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
