PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Allegheny College women's basketball had its five-game win streak snapped by second-place Chatham University, 62-50, in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday.
Despite the loss, Allegheny (12-10, 11-6 PAC) remains third in the conference standings with an opportunity to secure a home quarterfinal contest in the last two weeks of the regular season.

But Chatham seemingly put a lid on the rim, and across the last seven minutes of the third, the Gators only managed one made field goal and coughed the ball up seven times. Allegheny's last lead was at 33-32 following a
Sarah Santicola (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) bucket, as the Cougars bridged the third and fourth quarters with an 11-0 run.
