GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming team wrapped-up competition at the 2024 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Saturday (Feb. 17) at Grove City.
 
The Gators ended the event with 118 points, placing them in sixth place. Grove City won the PAC Championship.
 
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) and Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) represented the Gators in the 100 freestyle on the final night of competition. Malnar placed sixth with a time of 49.09 while Fluharty was not far behind in seventh with a time of 49.15.

Malnar also earned a spot on the PAC Sportsmanship Team. The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior, and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams and student-athletes.
