GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team earned four top-eight finishes on day three of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Friday night (Feb. 16) at Grove City.
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) highlighted the evening for the Gators. Competing in the finals of the 200 freestyle, Malnar finished with a time of 1:46.22 to claim third place.
The evening began with
Emmett Manning (Holmdel, N.J./Holmdel) swimming in the 100 butterfly finals. Manning finished the race in fifth with a time of 52.63. Manning also competed in the 100 backstroke finals, racing to a sixth-place finish, touching the wall at 56.12.
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) earned a spot in the finals of the 100 breaststroke. He finished in eighth with a time of 1:02.32.
