MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Allegheny women's tennis team's historic season came to an end Saturday (May 6) in the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships Second Round, falling to fifth-ranked Wesleyan 6-0.
The Gators finish the year with a 19-5 overall record after capturing both their first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship as well as their first win at the NCAA Division III Championships.
The Cardinals started the day with a doubles sweep. In singles action, they captured the first, fourth and sixth flights to advance in the tournament.
